Use these steps to activate the SBI Internet Banking portal for your SBI debit or ATM card:
Step 1. Visit the SBI Internet Banking Portal and log in to your SBI Net Banking account using your username, your Password, and the OTP that you received on your phone. This transaction is secure because it uses two-factor authentication.
Step 3 –Once you have successfully logged in to your account, click on the link ” Card Services” and navigate to “ATM/Debit card services.
Step 4 – Select the option ‘ New Card Activation ‘.
Step 5 – Choose the account that you have applied for. Enter the 16-digit ATM Card number twice to confirm.
Step 5: After verifying that the details entered are correct, click on the “Activate” option.
Step 6- Enter a password with high security on your registered mobile phone. Enter the Password on the page prompted and click “Confirm.”
Step 8 –A message will appear on your screen confirming that the ATM card has been activated.

Customers can also activate their SBI Debit Card using the YONO SBI App:
Step 1. Log in to the SBI Yono application with your username and Password.
Step 2. Click on the link additional” at the left-hand menu, and then select Service Request.
Step 3: Select “ATM/Debit Card Services” from the options available.
Step 4: Enter your profile password in order to authenticate access.
Step 6: Enter your 16-digit card number.
Step 6: Enter the high-security OTP that you received on your registered mobile number to complete the activation procedure.
Upon successful activation, you will receive an SMS.
Activate International Transactions via the YONO SBI app.
Follow these steps to enable international transactions through your SBI Debit Card via the YONO SBI app:
Step 1: Log in to the SBI YONO application with your username and Password.
Step 2: Click on the ‘Menu” link at the top-left and choose ‘Service Request.’ ‘
Step 4: Enter your Internet Banking Profile password.
Step 4: Select “Manage cards” then Manage Usage.
Step 5 Select your account and card from the dropdown list.
Step 6: Toggle to allow international use with your debit card, and set a limit that you feel comfortable with.
Step 7: Enter the Password that was sent to the registered mobile number you entered and click “Submit.” ‘
