Independence comes with responsibility. Omniwealth has a responsibility to provide our clients with clarity and guidance about what the investment landscape looks like both in the short and long term.

An investment specialist should comment on the market based on what they truly believe, not on what investors may want to hear. Unfortunately, many investment experts represent large organisations whose core business relies on investor inflows. Protecting these inflows is paramount and good news is favoured over bad.

The Omniwealth Investment Committee (OIC) consists of members that are independent specialists in their field. Although the members complement each other, they each look at markets differently. So while this encourages healthy debate it ultimately benefits their Omniwealth adviser, which helps them advise their clients with clarity and in a well-informed manner.

The OIC meets monthly and the results of the meeting are available for immediate use allowing us to make necessary changes in any market environment.

Thomas has had a fifteen year career in equity markets. He has worked for major firms such as Bankers Trust, Merrill Lynch and Bell Potter, building substantial private client portfolios in domestic and international equities. Thomas is experienced as a manager and advisor of discretionary and non discretionary portfolios in the equities segment.

He was the founder and Chief Executive Officer of PendVest from 2005 to 2009, a London based long biased concentrated investment fund built in conjunction with CapVest .
